The Anti-Sexual harassment committee granted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) regulations and the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013.
PIVOTAL ROLES
Internal Complaints Committee (ICC): Our college has an ICC to address sexual harassment complaints, comprising a senior woman faculty member as the Presiding Officer, faculty members, non-teaching staff, and student representatives.
OBJECTIVES
The committee aims to prevent and redress sexual harassment, ensure a safe and respectful environment, and promote awareness about gender equality and rights.
FUNCTIONS
Complaint Redressal: The ICC investigates complaints, provides support to victims, and recommends penalties or actions against harassers.
Awareness and Sensitization: The committee organizes workshops, training programs, and awareness campaigns to promote gender sensitization and prevent sexual harassment.
Support Services: The ICC provides guidance, counseling, and support to victims of sexual harassment.

Safe Campus Environment: The committee helps create a safe and respectful campus environment, promoting gender equality and preventing sexual harassment.
Zero-Tolerance Policy: Our College has a zero-tolerance policy towards sexual harassment, ensuring a secure and supportive environment for students and staff.
