Pass in HSC Examinations or Any Other equivalent examination. (Candidate who have passed Botany & Zoology / Biology, Physics, Chemistry)

4 ½ years degree course with 4 years of academics and 6 months of internship. Course Commencement: September
Brief Academic Details
First Year - Anatomy, Physiology, Psychology and Sociology, Basic and Applied Physics for Physiotherapy
Second Year - General Medicine- General Surgery/Paediatrics/Geriatrics, Microbiology and Pathology, Exercise Therapy – I, Exercise Therapy – II, Biomechanics and Applied Kinesiology
Third Year - Electrotherapy – I, Electrotherapy- II, Clinical Cardio Respiratory Diseases, Clinical Orthopaedics, Clinical Neurology, Community Medicine
Final Year - Physiotherapy in Neurology, Physiotherapy in Orthopaedics, Physiotherapy in Cardio respiratory diseases, Rehabilitation Medicine, Project
University Examinations are conducted at the end of each academic year
Internship - 6 Months
On rotatory basis students are posted in various departments of Swamy Vivekanandha Medical College Hospital and Research Institute and for 6 months. During this period, they are trained by senior Doctors and Physiotherapy Staffs.
